Bakers' History

History tells us Bakers Country Furniture is one of the oldest furniture stores in the nation. Visitors at the charming shop tell us it's also one of the most interesting.

Founded as G.H. Baker in 1808, Bakers occupies a beautiful turn-of-the-19th century Victorian home in Stafford Springs, CT. We are less than a mile away from the original store. With an emphasis on country and traditional styles, the 16,000 square foot store features many different furniture lines and beautiful antique reproductions.
